£18 – £21 per hour (Umbrella pay)

3 week contract from Sunday 5th October

Are you experienced in rail safety and looking for an opportunity in Huddersfield?

We are looking for a team of Banksman to join our client, currently working on a major upgrade project in the North West.

This role will involve providing support to Compound Supervisors by covering shortfall shifts on staff rest days. Opportunities for full-time Compound Supervisor positions later in the year will be considered for those who demonstrate initiative and work well within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Communicate effectively with drivers, signalmen, and other personnel to maintain safety standards.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant rail standards.

* Report and assist in the resolution of any incidents or issues on site.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman ticket.

* Experience in a rail or construction environment – hold a valid PTS

* Knowledge of rail site safety and operational procedures.

* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Flexible and reliable, with the ability to cover adhoc shifts as required.
