Site Manager

My client are a Tier 1 civil engineering and construction contractor. They are looking to onboard a site manager to help deliver a critical infrastructure scheme in Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highways, public realm and civils.

Site manager responsibilities:

* Lead and manage all phases of the construction process, including planning, scheduling, and coordination with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

* Ensure project delivery is on time, within budget, and meets the highest quality standards.

* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.

* Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials.

* Uphold all health and safety standards, ensuring all site personnel are properly trained and compliant.

* Supervise and support subcontractors and on-site teams to ensure smooth execution of works.

* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project plans.

* Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients as needed.

* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the wider construction team throughout the project life cycle.

Site manager requirements:

* Right to work in the UK.

* NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

* CSCS card.

* SMSTS.

* First aid.

* Previous experience in a site managers role.

* Extensive experience with highways and civils.

* Full UK driving licence.
