Retrofit Assessor
Responsibilities
To undertake retrofit assessments in accordance with PAS 2035, the specification for the energy retrofit of domestic buildings.
You will be conducting on site assessments and surveys, analyse data to identify areas for improvement and prepare technical reports.
To provide administrative support to the delivery of projects.
To maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with clients and residents.
To provide retrofit advice to support a householder's journey to a low carbon home.
To deliver retrofit focused home visits or surveys with minimal support.
Essential Skills
Current Retrofit Assessor qualification.
Prior Retrofit assessment experience essential.
Ability to take dimensions and produce floor plans of complex buildings.
Desirable: Ability to use software to create 2D and 3D models of buildings.
Mathematical skills to calculate dimensions (floor area, volume etc.) of buildings.
Good understanding of low carbon and energy efficiency technologies.
Have experience of energy efficiency retrofit.
Have an understanding of the impact of energy efficiency retrofit on residential properties, residents and communities.
A flexible, self-motivating and agile attitude, allowing you to respond to client needs.
Meticulous attention to detail and precise record keeping skills.
Build strong relationships with colleagues.
Salary/Benefits
– £32,000 base
– £4,000 car allowance
– Annual bonus based on business performance
