Remuneration: £35,000-£55,000neg

The role of the Mechanical Estimator – Building Services will involve:
* Mechanical Estimator position role dealing with a range building services installation projects including: heating, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation systems for industrial and commercial sectors
* Gaining an understanding of project requirements via drawings, specifications and client liaison
* Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing to accurately estimate project costs
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
* Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiation discussions as needed
* Ability to utilise Cypher estimating software to ensure accurate costs are prepared for all new projects
* Analysis of market trends to ensure that bids are competitive
* Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation
* Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and technology to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency
The ideal applicant will be a Mechanical Estimator – Building Services with:
* Must have Estimating experience within the mechanical market sector
* Would consider building services, plumbing, heating, HVAC, MEP or other mechanical services.
* Ideally will have experience using Cypher mechanical estimating software
* Ideally have experience in industrial and commercial project environments
* Strong understanding of M&E systems, codes, rates and standards
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
