Contracts Manager Groundworks
Synergy Personnel Ltd collaborates with a reputable groundworks contractor in the search for an adept Contracts Manager to supervise various civil engineering and groundworks projects spanning Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex. This pivotal role entails overseeing project delivery from pre-construction to handover, providing autonomy and the chance to shape outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in groundworks and site management, adept at team coordination, client relationship management, and ensuring timely, safe, and budget-compliant project completion.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Oversee multiple live groundworks projects in Dorset and neighboring regions
– Lead site teams and subcontractors for seamless project coordination
– Monitor project progress and schedules
– Participate in client meetings and progress assessments
– Ensure adherence to health & safety, environmental, and quality standards
– Review and approve RAMS, method statements, and site documentation
– Assist commercial teams in cost control and forecasting
**Requirements:**
– Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Manager in groundworks or civil engineering
– Strong leadership and communication proficiencies
– Familiarity with project planning tools like Asta Powerproject is advantageous
– Possession of a full UK driving license
– SMSTS certification and relevant construction qualifications are desirable
