Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our growing Groundworks team in Norwich, working on a large highways scheme. This is a permanent position offering long-term career progression for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and supervising works on site, including deep drainage, embankments, roads and highways construction.

*

Producing and reviewing site drawings using AutoCAD.

*

Maintaining accurate records, surveys, and QA documentation.

*

Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and clients to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Site Engineer in groundworks and highways infrastructure.

*

Strong knowledge of deep drainage and earthworks.

*

Proficiency in AutoCAD and quality assurance processes.

*

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

*

Relevant construction/engineering qualifications (HNC, HND, or Degree preferred).
