Gas Quality Control Officer
A client within the Public Sector based in Nottingham is currently recruiting for a Gas Quality Control Officer to join their Housing Services team as soon as possible. The client is offering a part-time – 25 hours per week, temporary position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a gas compliance and audit environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to ensure that all internal gas engineers comply with Gas Safe regulations and company standards, maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across gas service operations.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Conduct internal audits to ensure full compliance with Gas Safe regulations.
• Verify engineers have the correct, calibrated equipment to carry out their roles safely.
• Complete site visits alongside engineers.
• Investigate reported gas escapes and RIDDOR incidents.
• Support the maintenance of high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across the service team.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require the following essential qualifications:
• ACS gas qualification.
• Experience in Quality Control or Audit.
• Must be 'off the tools'.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• CMDDA qualification.
• Experience in social housing.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £30 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £23 per hour PAYE) inside IR35. The 25 hours per week can be completed within Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00.
