Electrical Lead

Electrical Lead – Helsinki
Up to €120,000 DOE + €13,000 Tax Free Subsistence + Flights, Accom, Bills Paid
First Task Professional are presently seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to join the business to deliver a 50MW data centre just outside of Helsinki.
The city boasts one of the highest quality of life indices in the world and is a metropolitan hub with significant investment for data centres.
The project is undergoing a rock excavation at present and will run until early 2028 with high likelihood of follow-on projects in the region.
Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team of Electrical Engineers
* Propose design changes to improve cost efficiency, programme delivery, and quality
* Demonstrate strong commercial awareness
* Monitor construction quality, workmanship, and materials
* Coordinate with contracts manager, site engineers, and other leads to ensure accurate, timely information for subcontractors and site staff
* Review drawings/specifications; promptly report errors/omissions to the design team
* Define project resource needs and oversee team performance
* Maintain the highest standards of health & safety
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field)
* Strong procurement knowledge
* Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
* Proven ability to lead MEP teams effectively
* Data Centre MEP project delivery experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
