The Role

As Project Manager, you will plan, organise and oversee the construction of electrical (MV & HV) projects. Acting as the key client interface, you will be responsible for scheduling, delivery, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality and budget targets.

Key Responsibilities
– Lead all phases of MV & HV projects from start-up through to completion
– Develop project business plans, cost control systems, cashflow and schedules
– Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure programme, EHS and quality compliance
– Chair client and subcontractor meetings, managing progress and resolving issues
– Oversee audits, reporting, procurement and engineering activities
– Ensure successful testing, commissioning and final handover to client
– Maintain strong client relationships from mobilisation to close-out

About You
– Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent trade background
– Proven experience managing high-voltage and medium-voltage projects (substations essential)
– Skilled in leading multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
– Strong IT and reporting ability, including presentations and project documentation
– Commercially aware with strong problem-solving capability
– Willingness to travel as required for project delivery
– Proactive, solution-focused and able to work on your own initiative
