The Role
The Site Manager will play a vital role in delivering high-quality projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You’ll be the link between the site teams, supervisors, and the client — keeping everything running smoothly and making sure communication is always clear and proactive.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out progress checks and make sure projects are on track.
• Lead QA inspections, handovers, and sign-off processes.
• Take ownership of Health & Safety on site, ensuring safe, well-organised working environments.
• Organise labour, plant, and equipment to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Troubleshoot challenges quickly and effectively alongside supervisors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, keeping them fully updated.
• Support and motivate site staff, making sure they have everything they need to succeed.
Person Specification
• We’re looking for someone who is not only technically skilled but also driven, people focused, and proud of the work they deliver.
• Background in architectural metalwork, façades, structural steel, or balconies.
• Naturally organised, proactive, and solutions-driven.
• Able to manage people positively – clients, site staff, and contractors.
• Service-focused, with pride in upholding high standards and a strong company reputation.
• A team player who looks out for others and genuinely cares about the outcome.
Essential
• SMSTS certification.
• Strong site management experience within construction/metalwork.
