Pipefitter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented pipefitter for an immediate start in Stockport. This is a 2 week project where you will be responsible for installing, assembling and fabricating metal structures and components.
Key responsibilities:
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
* Working on an existing plant helping with the installation of a new line.
* Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using hand and power tools.
* Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other testing equipment.
* The scope of work includes lifting, bracketing and bolting the jacketed pipe to drawing.
* Carrying out any alterations that may need doing.
* Working in line with Health & Safety standards.
* General stainless steel pipe welding.
Person specification:
* Candidates must be available to start immediately.
* Must have proven experience as a Pipefitter.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Strong attention to detail and quality control.
* CSCS card or other relevant site certification may be required
