Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for delivering outstanding commercial fit out and refurbishment projects?

We're working with a market-leading fit-out and refurbishment contractor who are on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to join their Birmingham-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of exciting projects across the UK – managing schemes ranging from £50k to £2m in value.

As a Fit Out & Refurbishment Project Manager, you'll lead projects from conception through to handover, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. You'll serve as the vital link between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams – ensuring smooth communication and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver commercial fit out and refurbishment projects across the UK.

Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Develop and monitor project programmes, schedules, and site logistics.

Oversee health & safety, risk assessments, and compliance on site.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams effectively.

Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders.

Provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Conduct site visits to assess performance and resolve any on-site issues.

About You

Proven experience managing commercial fit out and refurbishment projects.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and H&S standards.

Confident communicator with excellent organisational and leadership skills.

Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Willingness to travel to sites nationwide.

Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Degree / HNC / HND in Construction Management, Project Management, or similar (Essential)

SMSTS (Essential)

CSCS Card (Essential)

First Aid at Work (Desirable)
