Are you a Building Surveyor with a passion for refurbishment and small works projects? Would you like to work in a vibrant, well-structured estate department at a globally respected university? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that values quality, collaboration, and long-term impact.About the RoleAs a Building Surveyor, you'll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of small-scale projects across our dynamic campus. These include:

Installation of new bathroom facilities
Roof and window replacements
Interior fit-outs and refurbishments
Extensions and re-allocation of spaceYou'll be involved from inception to completion-conducting surveys, producing drawings (CAD skills are a plus), appointing contractors, and overseeing delivery. Expect to manage around 20 projects simultaneously, each at different stages of development.
What You'll Need to Succeed

Degree or HNC/HND in Building Surveying or a related discipline
Strong IT skills
Proven experience in refurbishment and small works project management, be able to demonstrate the preparation of specifications and drawings and be familiar with general contract admin, JCT contracts
Design and surveying expertise
