Health And Safety Advisor
My client are a respected name in the construction industry, turning over £50 million and known for delivering high-quality projects across commercial, residential and retail sectors. As they continue to grow, we’re seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety Advisor to join our team and champion a culture of safety across sites throughout the London region.
About the Role
As Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll play a key role in operational safety on key sites throughout the London region, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, promoting best practices, and supporting site teams in maintaining safe working environments. You’ll be involved in site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and training delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular site audits and inspections, reporting findings and recommending improvements
* Develop and review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
* Provide guidance and support to site managers and operatives on health and safety matters
* Lead incident investigations and ensure accurate reporting
* Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
* Monitor compliance with CDM regulations and company policies
* Stay up to date with legislation and industry standards
Requirements
* A Minimum of 6 Months Experience within a Safety Orientated position within a similar Construction or Civil Engineering Main Contractor or Sub Contractor.
* NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health & Safety (essential).
* Proven experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and CDM regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
