About the Role:
We're working with a leading multi-disciplinary Building Consultancy based in Preston, currently seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Building Surveyor:
Assisting in building inspections and helping prepare detailed reports.
Supporting senior surveyors in advising on repairs, maintenance and improvement works.
Helping ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety standards, and project specifications.
Working closely with surveyors, architects, engineers, and contractors on a variety of projects.
Contributing to the planning, design, and delivery of construction and refurbishment schemes.
Requirements for the Assistant Building Surveyor:
Degree in Building Surveying
1-2 years' relevant experience, ideally in a consultancy or similar environment.
Good understanding of construction methods and building regulations
Ambition to work towards MRICS (Chartered status support available)
Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and good communication skills.What's on offer:
