3 Man Finishing Gang

Our client is a leading Civil Engineering, Groundworks, and Specialist Drainage contractor who is expanding its team and looking for skilled Groundworkers to support a range of projects across the North West.

The Role:

We are seeking 3 experienced operatives within a 3 man gang for an on going project based in Wigan. We require 1 machine operative along with 2 groundworkers to complete internal and external finishing works on a Civils project for a Multi Story Car Park.

Duties include but not limited to:

Laying kerbs, edgings, channels, and bollards.

Installing paving (block paving, slabs, and tactile paving).

Preparing and laying sub-bases and final surfacing for roads, footpaths, and parking bays.

Finishing concrete works (paths, ramps, steps, and hardstandings).

Installing street furniture (barriers, planters, cycle stands, seating).

Minor landscaping (topsoiling, seeding, turfing).

Assisting with white-lining preparation and drainage finishing.

Final snagging, tidying, and ensuring all external works meet specification.

What We’re Looking For:

CPCS/NPORS CSCS compliant for machine operative (excavator, roller, dumper, 360 operative)

Valid CSCS/NPORS CSCS for groundwork operatives

Experience in Civils groundworks

Strong general groundworks knowledge
