M&E Design Manager (Building Services)

£70,000 to £85,000 + Car/Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Building Services contractor renowned for delivering high-quality M&E projects across healthcare, education, commercial, and cutting-edge data centre sectors.

The Role

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced M&E Design Engineer / M&E Design Manager to join their team.

This is a pivotal role, working closely with clients, consultants, and project teams from concept through to delivery, ensuring full design coordination and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and oversee M&E design from feasibility through to completion

* Coordinate and review consultant and subcontractor designs

* Provide technical input during tender and pre-construction stages

* Support delivery teams to resolve design challenges and ensure compliance

About You

* Strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Combined Building Services design

* Knowledge of M&E systems integration and relevant regulations

* Familiarity with BIM / digital engineering tools (advantageous)

* Excellent communication and coordination skills

* Experience as a Design Manager or Senior M&E Design Engineer

Remuneration Package – M&E Design Manager

Base Salary: £70,000 to £85,000 (reflective of experience and seniority)
