Senior Maintenance Engineer

We have a new role for a Building Services Supervisor, to join a leading University in central London. This is a great role for a qualified engineer who wants to be a senior member of the maintenance engineering team. This role is working for a prestigious organisation with the added bonus of giving you a great work life balance, as it is only a 35 hour week with a very generous holiday allowance. This is a static maintenance role based in London Bridge, it is a day shift only role, Monday – Friday 8-4. 

In addition of a salary of c£42,000 you will receive:

30 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas Closure 

Enhanced Pension (20% Employer contribution)

Within this Senior maintenance engineer role, you will be responsible for Mechanical and Electrical building services maintenance as well as leading from the front as a senior member of the team. If you have had enough of working on call and working 40 hour weeks with little holiday, this is the job for you!

Your role will include:

Electrical or Mechanical (qualification dependent) building services maintenance on the University campus

Adhering to health and safety rules and regulations

Training junior engineers

CAFM system management

Escorting contractors on the campus

This role is varied and would suit a qualified engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) looking for a new challenge in a supportive environment. 

For this Senior Maintenance Engineer role we are looking for:

Fully qualified building services engineer (either Level 3 Plumbing and Heating, Mechanical degree or Level 3 Electrical + 18th edition)

Building services maintenance experience, ideally from within similar complex large commercial buildings /estates

Willing and able to act as a senior member of the team
