Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction projects, including extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments, and new builds. This role requires a collaborative team player who can effectively organize and manage teams, work closely with the commercial department, and ensure seamless operations as we take on new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Collaborate with the commercial team to schedule and book jobs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project flow.

Manage and organize teams on-site, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Maintain excellent communication with clients, addressing any concerns and providing updates on project progress.

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and drive company growth.

Monitor project performance and implement improvements as necessary.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging professional development and innovation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in the construction industry, specifically in residential projects (extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments, new builds).

Strong leadership and team management skills.
