Summary of the Role
As a Trainee Wetroom Installer, you’ll assist in the installation of wetroom and waterproofing systems to a high standard across a variety of construction projects in London and the South East. You’ll learn from experienced professionals and develop hands-on skills in all aspects of wetroom preparation, waterproofing, and finishing.
Main Responsibilities
* Install tilebacker boards, drainage systems, shower floor build-ups, and waterproofing membranes in bathrooms, leisure, and wellness environments.
* Develop a strong understanding of our products and installation processes.
* Deliver a professional and courteous service to clients at all times.
* Attend all required training and induction sessions.
* Work safely and proactively, following all Health & Safety guidelines, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and professional personal appearance.
* Take responsibility for tools, vehicles, phones, and other company property, keeping them in good condition.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and site personnel.
* Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
* Comply with all relevant laws, site rules, and company procedures.
Other Responsibilities
* Maintain strong communication with supervisors and colleagues.
* Support your team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
* Assist in problem-solving on-site when needed.
Experience & Skills
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Previous experience in construction preferred, but not essential — full training provided
* Conscientious, self-aware, and eager to learn
* Able to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
* Confident when dealing with customers and suppliers
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Good timekeeping and reliability
