About The Role

The consultancy is seeking a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its cost consultancy team. You will play a key role in cost planning, budget management, tendering, cost control and financial reporting across projects of varying size and complexity.

Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing cost estimates, feasibility studies and cost plans at all project stages.

* Quantification, compiling bills of quantities and tender documentation.

* Supporting procurement, tender evaluation and contract administration.

* Monitoring and managing costs during construction, including variations and forecasting.

* Contributing to value engineering, risk assessments and cost optimisation.

* Working closely with project managers, designers and other stakeholders to control costs effectively.

About the Requirements

* Qualified (or part-qualified) in Quantity Surveying or Cost Consultancy (e.g. MRICS, RICS APC path or equivalent).

* Proven experience in preparing cost plans, bills of quantities, tenders and cost control for construction projects.

* Strong knowledge of measurement methods, procurement routes and contract administration.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client and team relationships.

* Proficiency in QS software and standard office tools.
