About the Role
The consultancy is seeking a talented and driven Project Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding cost consultancy team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, providing accurate cost management and commercial insight from concept to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing detailed cost estimates, feasibility studies and cost plans at all design stages.
• Carrying out measurement, preparing bills of quantities and tender documentation.
• Supporting tendering, procurement, and contract administration processes.
• Monitoring and reporting on project costs, variations and forecasts.
• Leading on value engineering, risk management and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborating closely with clients, project managers, designers and contractors to ensure effective cost control and project delivery.
About the Requirements
• Degree qualified (or part-qualified) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (MRICS or working towards preferred).
• Demonstrable experience in cost planning, tender preparation and post-contract cost management for construction projects.
• Solid understanding of measurement standards, procurement routes and contract administration.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard QS software and Microsoft Office tools.
