About the Role
The consultancy is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will take ownership of key projects and provide leadership within the cost consultancy team. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle — from feasibility and cost planning through to procurement, contract administration, and final accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading on the preparation of cost estimates, tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities.
• Managing procurement processes and providing contractual and commercial advice to clients.
• Overseeing cost control, valuations, variations, and financial reporting throughout project delivery.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members, ensuring high professional standards.
• Working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to budget.
• Contributing to business development and supporting the company’s continued growth.
About the Requirements
• MRICS qualified, with a proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment.
• Extensive experience across pre- and post-contract stages, ideally within residential or mixed-use sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction, cost management, and procurement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
• A proactive and professional approach, with a desire to contribute to a growing, ambitious team.
