CONTRACTS MANAGER – CENTRAL LONDON

Client

Our client is a long established Main Contractor specialising in New Build & Refurbishment projects in London.

Job Summary:

Contracts Manager to oversee Project Teams around multiple projects in Central London reporting into the Company Director. The projects will range from £500k to £10m

Role / Responsibilities

* Previous experience running multiple concurrent new build / refurbishment projects as a Projects Manager or Contracts Manager.

* Managing large teams who look after the day-to-day work on sites.

* Ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with the clients and companies requirements

* Implementing the Company Health & Safety Procedures including safety inspections of the site and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety are being met.

* Maintain and update project reporting.

* Working to the programme of work and strategy for the project

* The ability to communicate effectively across all levels.

* Working day to day along the commercial team and Directors

* A strong work ethic allowing you to deliver upon your deadlines.

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

* An industry applicable qualification.

* Proven track record from similar sector specific organisations.

* Hold valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid tickets.

Individual:

* Knowledge in new build / refurbishment

* Able to work as part of a team

* Previous UK Construction experience is preferred.

* Ability to manage the sub-contractors and on site teams

* Strong work ethic

* An excellent communicator.

* Have strong commercial awareness.

* Good IT knowledge
