Salary: £75,000-£85,000 + Car Allowance + Additional Benefits

Location: Essex (Site-Based) Sector: Education (New Build Projects)

Interview Process: Two-stage (Initial MS Teams Interview + Final In-Person)

Overview

My client are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-value new build projects within the education sector. This is a site-based role across Essex, offering a competitive package and the opportunity to oversee projects from inception to completion, with values up to £30M.

️ Key Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of new build projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget

Collaborate closely with design teams during pre-construction and planning phases

Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades on site to maintain quality and safety standards

Monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

Minimum 4 years' experience as a Project Manager in construction

Proven track record of delivering new build projects up to £30M

Sector experience in education is essential; healthcare or leisure also considered

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project success

Certifications & Qualifications

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

First Aid at Work

CSCS Black Card

NVQ Level 6 or 7 in Construction Management or equivalent
