Graduate Site Engineer

A leading civil engineering and utilities contractor is offering an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join its growing team, based in Greater Manchester.

This role is ideal for an ambitious graduate looking to start their career with a respected regional contractor involved in delivering a variety of infrastructure, highways, and public realm projects. Working under the guidance of experienced engineers and site managers, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery — from setting out and quality control to health and safety and technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with setting out, surveying, and day-to-day engineering duties on site
Ensure works are carried out safely, accurately, and in line with specifications
Support senior engineers with quality assurance and progress reporting
Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation on site Key Requirements:

Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Basic understanding of construction processes and site operations
