About the Role
Due to continued growth and several new project awards, the company is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial management of a major projects across London. You’ll take ownership of cost planning, procurement, valuations, variations, and client accounts across demolition, groundwork, and RC frame packages — ensuring profitability, efficiency, and strong client relationships throughout.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing valuations, variations, cost control, and payments
* Working closely with site and project teams to maintain commercial performance
* Overseeing demolition, groundwork, and RC frame packages from start to finish
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
* Producing accurate financial reports to support senior management
* Supporting the successful delivery of multiple upcoming schemes
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within RC Frame, Groundworks, and Demolition
* Solid understanding of commercial processes and construction contracts (JCT / NEC)
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
* Ability to manage your own workload and deliver results under pressure
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
