A highly regarded, forward-thinking construction consultancy is looking to recruit a Project Manager to join their expanding Leeds team, focusing on healthcare and public sector projects across Yorkshire and the North of England.

The Role

You will lead multiple healthcare and public sector schemes from inception through to completion, overseeing design, procurement, and delivery phases. The role offers end-to-end project responsibility and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders to shape project outcomes.

This position provides exposure to some of the region’s most exciting NHS and local authority developments and offers the chance to progress rapidly into a Senior Project Manager position.

Responsibilities

Manage healthcare and public sector projects through all RIBA stages
Deliver full lifecycle project management including programme, cost, and risk control
Build and maintain relationships with NHS Trusts, local authorities, and external stakeholders
Lead contractor and consultant coordination meetings
Ensure compliance with all project, safety, and contractual obligations (JCT / NEC)
Mentor and support junior team members

The Candidate

The ideal Project Manager will:

Hold a degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
Have 3–6 years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side environment
Demonstrate proven experience delivering healthcare, public sector, or education projects
Have strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contract forms
Possess excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills
Be ambitious, proactive, and eager to grow within a thriving Leeds team
