An award-winning, multidisciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to join their growing Cambridge office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile healthcare and education projects across East Anglia and the South East.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on healthcare and education schemes ranging from £2 million to £150 million in value. You’ll work closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to deliver projects efficiently through all RIBA stages.

The role combines hands-on project delivery with the opportunity to develop long-term client relationships and contribute to the office’s continued success.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from feasibility through to handover
Deliver healthcare and public-sector projects under JCT and NEC contracts
Develop and maintain client relationships (NHS Trusts, local government, universities)
Manage design coordination, procurement, risk, and programme management
Chair client and stakeholder meetings
Support and mentor assistant project managers

The Candidate

The ideal Project Manager will:

Hold a degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related construction discipline
Have 3–6 years of consultancy or client-side experience
Demonstrate experience in healthcare, education, or local authority sectors
Have strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contract forms
Be confident, organised, and client-focused
Ideally be working towards chartership (APM / RICS)
