Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – EV Charging & Power Infrastructure
Location: Derby / Nottingham / Leicester (Hybrid / Field-Based)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent, Contract, or Temp-to-Perm

Activus Recruitment is supporting a fast-growing electrical infrastructure specialist delivering EV charging, renewable energy, and high-voltage (HV) connection projects across the UK.

We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial and contractual experience to support major EV charging and power distribution projects across the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all commercial aspects of EV charging and electrical infrastructure projects.

*

Prepare budgets, valuations, variations, and final accounts.

*

Administer and negotiate JCT Contracts (NEC knowledge is a bonus).

*

Work closely with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and contract compliance.

*

Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting throughout project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

*

3–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, utilities, or electrical/EV sectors.

*

Good working knowledge of JCT Contracts.

*

Strong cost management, reporting, and commercial acumen.

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
