About the Project
We’re working on a commercial project (e.g. fit out / shell & core / new build) and are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager on a freelance basis. This role involves managing all electrical activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee all electrical works on site, including subcontractors and direct labour
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, designs, and specifications to ensure compliance
• Monitor progress of electrical installation, ensuring quality standards are maintained
• Liaise with main contractor, project manager, other trade managers and consultants
• Implement and enforce health & safety procedures – ensure RAMS, PPE, and safe working practices are in place
• Review and approve test & inspection records, commissioning documentation
• Identify potential risks, delays or issues and report/escalate accordingly
• Coordinate snagging, defect resolution, and ensure timely completion of handover documentation
• Keep accurate daily site records, including reports, labour records, and materials tracking
• Attend and contribute to site meetings and project planning sessions

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Site Manager or in a similar senior role
• Demonstrated experience managing electrical packages on commercial or industrial projects
• Hold a valid ECS Gold Card
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• Full UK Driving Licence
