Contract Scotland are delighted to be working in partnership with a respected interiors contractor to recruit for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
This position represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with approximately one to two years’ post-graduate experience to further develop their career within a well-established and growing business. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a diverse range of fit-out and refurbishment projects, working closely with an experienced commercial team committed to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, submission, and analysis of tenders and cost estimates.
Manage subcontractor enquiries, quotations, and payments.
Support the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
Monitor and report on project costs to ensure financial control and profitability.
Collaborate with project and site teams to ensure the commercial success of projects.
Candidate Requirements:
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Approximately 1–2 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally within construction, fit-out, or interiors.
Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard Quantity Surveying software.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to professional development.
