Salary: £50,000-£55,000 (DOE) + Travel Expenses
Location: Hybrid / Remote Working Available
Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4pm (flexibility required)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

I'm delighted to be recruiting for an established and respected business within the Catering Design and Installation industry. They're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Design & Projects team – someone who can take ownership of projects from the initial design phase right through to installation, handover, and post-project support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and wants to make a real impact in delivering outstanding, bespoke catering projects nationwide.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll be a key link between design, accounts, and on-site delivery teams. You'll ensure every project runs smoothly – on time, on budget, and to specification – while maintaining excellent communication with both internal teams and clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Working closely with design consultants to identify and resolve potential design issues early on.

Surveying client sites across the UK, assessing MEP requirements, risks, and access, and reporting findings with visual documentation.

Supporting project planning with timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Leading and motivating project teams and supply chain partners to deliver quality installations.

Approving drawings and quotations, providing constructive feedback for improvement.

Monitoring budgets, reporting variations, and ensuring accurate financial tracking.

Communicating progress clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.

Conducting post-project reviews to identify successes and lessons learned.

Meeting key performance indicators, including on-time delivery, budget control, and client satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within a design, installation, or catering environment. You'll be a confident communicator, highly organised, and capable of balancing multiple priorities.

You'll also need to demonstrate:

Strong supply chain management skills

The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Strong customer service focus and professional communication

Commercial awareness and cost-control experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (CAD knowledge is an advantage)

A proactive, solution-focused attitude

A willingness to embody the company's core values of trust, honesty, integrity, respect, and care

Knowledge of catering operations or kitchen design processes would be a distinct advantage, but transferable project management experience from similar technical environments will also be considered.

Performance & Reporting Expectations

Diary Management: Maintain accurate Outlook scheduling, including site visits linked to CRM records for cost allocation.

Project Reporting: Provide daily/weekly updates on live projects, supported by visuals.

Project Reviews: Conduct reviews upon completion, assessing budgets, schedules, and project effectiveness.

Benefits & Culture

This company offers a supportive and collaborative working environment, where you'll be encouraged to take ownership and contribute to continuous improvement.

Benefits include:

Hybrid / Remote working flexibility

28 days holiday (including 8 statutory days, plus a minimum of 3 days at Christmas)

Additional annual leave accrued each year (up to 25 days total)

Travel expenses covered

Opportunities for professional development and progression
