SITE SUPERVISOR – IMMEDIATE START

Location: Coalburn, South of Glasgow
Rate: £350 per day (CIS/Umbrella)
Duration: Now until Christmas (potential for extension)
Pay: Weekly
Start Date: ASAP
Weekend Work: Available

Force Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join a high-profile HV cabling project in Coalburn, just south of Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in HV works, excavation, and reinstatement of joint bays who is looking for stable work through to the end of the year – with the potential for ongoing opportunities in 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.

*

Supervise groundworkers and other on-site personnel involved in HV cable excavation and reinstatement.

*

Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, ensuring all operatives comply with site rules and regulations.

*

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery of works.

*

Monitor site progress and report on daily activities and issues.

*

Manage site documentation and safety records in line with company and client procedures.

Requirements:

*

SSSTS certification (minimum requirement).

*

Proven experience supervising teams on HV cabling projects.

*

Strong understanding of excavation, joint bay construction, and reinstatement works.

*

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

*

Able to start immediately and commit through to Christmas.
