The role: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Birmingham

Salary / Day rate: £70,000 – £300.00

Requirements:

5+ Years QS experience
Local to Birmingham area
Strong numerical & analytical skills
Able efficiently price upto £10 Million Worth of tenders
Familiarity with subcontractor/supplier pricing
Full UK driving licenseDuties:

Oversee a £6M project in Lichfield, managing all commercial aspects.
Prepare and manage tender submissions and cost estimates.
Calculate labour and material requirements for project timelines.
Conduct site visits for measurements and progress valuations.
Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Manage budgets through design, planning, and delivery stages.
Recommend cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.
Identify and mitigate cost and contractual risks.
Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Monitor cash flow and maintain cost reports.
Ensure compliance with contracts and procurement procedures.
Collaborate with project teams to meet financial targets.
