Job Title: M&E Contracts Manager
Location: Basildon, Essex (London projects)
Salary: £90K + Package

The Role:.

*

Manage all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical commercial projects throughout the project lifecycle, including contract review, execution, and administration. Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with obligations, timelines, and quality standards.

*

Identify potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Keep up to date with changes in regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance and minimise legal exposure.

*

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate contract requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives. Provide guidance and support to project teams on all contractual and commercial matters.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, including contract files, correspondence, and change orders. Prepare reports and updates on contract status, milestones, and issues for management review.

24 years’ experience delivering Mechanical and Electrical services to the construction industry.

Offices based in Basildon, Essex.

*

30 + employees plus subcontractors.

*

Currently achieving around £8m turnover per annum.

*

This hire is due to company growth and continued success in winning new projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Will have 5+ years’ experience working as an M&E Contracts Manager or similar role.

*

Will have previous experience managing commercial projects up to the value of £5m.

*

Will hold a Black CSCS Managers Card. SSSTS/SMSTS advantageous.

*

Will have strong technical knowledge across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.

*

Will work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

*

Will have excellent communication and leadership skills.
