Site Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team working on a major infrastructure project in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out for drainage works, ensuring accuracy, quality, and full compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out for drainage works including pipelines, manholes, and associated structures

*

Managing survey control and maintaining accurate as-built records

*

Ensuring all works are completed to design specifications and within required tolerances

*

Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams

*

Producing and updating AutoCAD drawings as required

*

Assisting with quality assurance checks and resolving technical queries on site

Requirements

*

Minimum 5 years’ experience setting out for drainage on civil engineering or infrastructure projects

*

Strong knowledge of drainage systems, levels, and line work

*

Proficient in the use of modern survey equipment (Leica, Trimble, or Topcon)

*

Must have own laptop with AutoCAD

*

CSCS card (essential)

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
