QA/QC Engineer – Munich
Falcon Green is partnering with a leading European General Contractor renowned for delivering complex, large-scale projects across the life sciences and mission critical sectors. With an annual turnover exceeding €1 billion and a strong forward order book, they are experiencing sustained growth and are now seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join a flagship data centre project in Munich.
As the QA/QC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met across all phases of construction. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the client, you will implement and maintain robust QA/QC procedures across CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural), mechanical, and electrical packages. This is a key role in ensuring project delivery aligns with industry and client-specific standards from initial phase to final handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC policies, plans, and procedures in line with project and client requirements.
* Monitor site quality activities and conduct regular audits and inspections.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
* Review and manage documentation including inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality records.
* Oversee all QA documentation and certification to ensure completeness before handover.
* Liaise with the client to ensure approval and successful implementation of quality documentation.
* Participate in weekly quality and progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
* Advise senior management on all quality-related issues.
* Maintain document control processes and oversee updates and revisions to QA-related documents.
Requirements
* Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in a QA/QC role within large-scale construction projects, particularly in CSA, mechanical, and electrical systems.
* M&E background essential.
* Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards and construction best practices.
* Proficient in documentation control and audit procedures.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
