Are you an experienced operational leader with a passion for driving performance and service quality across building services and maintenance operations? We’re looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to take charge of a thriving division delivering planned, reactive, and technical maintenance across a diverse portfolio of clients.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, and tradespeople. You’ll be accountable for ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and commercial success across service lines.

You’ll have the autonomy to shape how we deliver — introducing best practice, improving systems and processes, and ensuring that our people and clients experience first-class service.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and motivate operational teams delivering building services, repairs, and maintenance projects across multiple sites.

* Build strong client relationships — acting as the main point of contact to ensure exceptional service delivery.

* Drive financial and operational performance, including budget management, cost control, and margin improvement.

* Champion health, safety, and compliance across all operations.

* Identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

* Work closely with senior leadership to develop long-term business strategies and customer partnerships.

About You

* Proven experience in a management or senior operations role within building services, FM, or repairs and maintenance.

* Strong leadership skills — able to engage, develop, and inspire teams to achieve great results.

* Commercially astute, with a clear understanding of budgets, contracts, and profitability.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both with clients and internal teams.

* A problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
