Land Surveyor

We are working with a leading organisation in the rail sector, who are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join their surveying team

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of major rail infrastructure projects within a dynamic and growing international business environment.

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of surveying tasks, including:

* Undertaking Topographic and Engineering Surveys.
* Operating Total Stations, GNSS/GPS, Laser Scanning and other Surveying Equipment.
* Processing survey data using software such as Trimble Business Centre, N4CE, LSS, Carlson Survey, AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation.
* Capturing gauging data and 3D point cloud data using advanced scanning technology.
* Installing and computing survey control networks.
* Setting out line and level for projects.

We are looking for candidates with:

* Experience in surveying, ideally within railway infrastructure.
* Background in large, multidisciplinary rail projects.
* Strong IT and CAD skills, with experience in relevant survey software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexibly across midweek, weekend, day and night shifts.
* Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
* A qualification such as HNC, HND, BSc, BEng or MEng in Surveying or a related discipline (desirable).
