Bid Manager
We’re working with a highly respected, award-winning design practice with studios across the UK, recognised for its innovative approach to architecture, urban design and placemaking. The studio has an outstanding track record delivering complex, high-profile projects that shape communities and set benchmarks for sustainable design.
They are now seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join their London team, taking a pivotal role in winning major new commissions across both public and private sectors.
The Role
As Bid Manager, you’ll lead the development and delivery of high-quality, compelling submissions that help the practice stand out in a competitive market. Working closely with senior partners, designers and the marketing team, you’ll oversee the full bid lifecycle — from initial opportunity through to submission and feedback — while continuously refining bid strategies and content libraries to ensure excellence.
This is a strategic, fast-paced role that offers genuine scope to make an impact at a national level, supporting a diverse range of disciplines including architecture, landscape, interiors, planning and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate bids, tenders and competitions from launch through to submission and interview.
Develop clear, winning strategies in collaboration with project leads and partners.
Manage bid teams, ensuring smooth communication across multiple stakeholders.
Edit, proof and shape tender responses to ensure quality, compliance and impact.
Oversee procurement portals and submission requirements.
Maintain and develop a best-in-class bid library of reusable content.
Support post-bid reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.About You
Extensive experience in a bid or proposals management role, ideally within the built environment or a related creative industry.
Proven success managing complex bids end-to-end, with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Strong strategic thinking, writing and editing abilities.
Confident coordinating multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign).
