Job Ad: Duct Fitter — Birmingham (Temporary)

Position: Duct Fitter (Temporary)
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Rate: £25.00‑£25.50 per hour New Job Today+1
Hours: Full time, Mon‑Fri, approx. 8 hr days (start time as required per site)
Duration: Approx 10‑12 weeks (with potential for extension)

What you’ll be doing:

Measuring, cutting, fabricating and installing duct systems (steel spiral & rectangular ductwork) across multi‑floor/office fit‑out projects. New Job Today

Working closely with HVAC engineers to ensure proper alignments, joints, supports and sealing.

*

Altering/removing existing ductwork where required.

*

Ensuring compliance with site health & safety protocols and using proper PPE.

Requirements:

*

Valid CSCS Blue card (essential). New Job Today+1

*

Proven experience as a duct fitter in commercial / office fit‑out settings.

*

Ability to read ductwork drawings and specifications.

*

PASMA or IPAF would be beneficial though not mandatory. New Job Today

*

Good punctuality, teamwork, and ability to carry heavy materials.
