Job Opportunity: Finishing Manager – Residential Apartments (Fieldview Experience)

Salary: £280 – £300 a day

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Finishing Manager to take the lead on the internal fit-out and final handovers of circa 30 apartments on a large residential scheme. You’ll be responsible for driving quality, managing subcontractors, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-spec finishes on time and within budget.

This is a site-based role requiring strong attention to detail and excellent coordination skills — ideally suited to someone who thrives on seeing projects through to completion.

Fieldview experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee all internal works and finishing trades on-site.

* Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure quality and programme compliance.

* Conduct regular snagging and de-snagging inspections using Fieldview.

* Maintain progress reports and update site records through Fieldview.

* Ensure work is delivered in line with design specifications and to the highest finish standards.

* Liaise closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and Client.

* Drive health & safety compliance across all finishing activities.

* Attend and lead weekly progress and snagging meetings.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Finishing Manager on residential schemes (apartments or similar).

* Strong knowledge of internal trades and high-end finishes.

* Fieldview proficiency is a must.

* Ability to manage multiple trades and tight programmes.

* Eye for detail and strong snagging/de-snagging processes.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

* CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid (desirable but may vary depending on role level)
