Quality Manager
QUALITY MANAGER REQUIRED ON PERMANENT BASIS IN NORTH WEST AND WEST MIDLANDS
Are you passionate about driving quality excellence and improving construction delivery standards? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a leading main contractor, helping to shape, coach, and influence quality performance across multiple high-profile projects.
The Role
As Quality Manager, you'll play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and compliance. You'll work closely with project and site teams, providing coaching, conducting audits, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and support the application of company Quality Management Systems.
Coach and mentor project teams to improve delivery and defect avoidance.
Review construction practices to ensure compliance with statutory and client requirements.
Conduct internal audits, report findings, and monitor corrective actions.
Coordinate internal and external audit programmes.
Capture and share lessons learned to drive business-wide improvement.
Analyse data and report on trends to inform management reviews.
About You
Proven background in construction quality management or QA/QC roles.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality auditing.
Excellent communication and coaching skills – able to influence at all levels.
Construction qualification (HND/Degree) or equivalent.
Membership of CQI or CIOB (desirable).
Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally stay away.
