Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working with a well-established and forward-thinking residential developer who is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is a site-based role located in Fareham, where you will play a key part in a large-scale housing development.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Assistant QS looking to gain hands-on experience on a flagship residential project, with strong mentorship and clear progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting with the preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans

* Supporting in the procurement of subcontractors and materials

* Measuring and valuing works on site

* Assisting with monthly cost reporting and CVRs

* Supporting the Senior QS and wider commercial team in all commercial aspects of the development

About You:

* 2–4 years of experience in a similar role within the residential sector

* Ideally degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or working towards it

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with site teams

* Eager to develop commercially and take on greater responsibilities over time
