Cad Technician

CAD Technician – Permanent Role | Civil Engineering Company | KT15

Our client, a reputable and growing civil engineering company based in KT15, is seeking a detail-driven CAD Technician to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support a range of domestic construction projects from £100k to £2.5m in value.

📍 Location: KT15 (Must live within 20 miles of Addlestone)
💼 Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
💰 Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Office hours 7am – 4pm

✅ What We’re Looking For:

* Good knowledge of MS office suite

* Archicad or Revit Required and Autocad or Civils

* 3D Modelling not a must but a nice to have

* Experience in landscape designs not a must but a nice to have

* At least 5 years’ UK experience in a similar role

* Clean Class B driving licence

* Pricing drawings, Preliminary drawings to construction drawings

* Familiar with reinforcement drawings, concrete works, drainage, setting out

* Liaison with house manufacturer, QS, Client

* 3D modelling for quote presentations

* Presenting 3D modelling as part of quote presentations to the client or other stake holders

* Ensuring all up to date drawings are downloaded and saved from relevant parties involved

* Incorporating and circulating Changes

* Establish Quantities for purchasing

* Assist Site Team with any queries they have related to the drawings

* Flag any changes to the site team

* Log weekly workload / updates for Team Meeting input

* Carry out site visits when required

* Confident to learn (or already has experience) in setting out (we own a LEICA)
