JOB PURPOSE

As Trainee Estimator (Hoists) you will be trained to provide estimates and secure orders by providing market competitive solutions to meet customer requirements in compliance with company procedures.

Division: Mechanical Access
Location: Duxford, Cambridgeshire

KEY RESULT AREAS

* Provision of accurate estimates with practical and workable solutions, maximising the probability of obtaining targeted contracts

* Identification and conversion of new opportunities

* Building and maintaining key relationships with customers, providing high levels of customer service

* Compliance with Company policies and procedures

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist with site surveys

* Assist with quotations & pricing schedules.

* Assist with follow up existing quotes.

* Assist with maintaining sales records & reports.

* Assist with liaising with technical & operational teams regarding newly won work

* Learn how to & quote planned variations.

* Help compile and complete tenders.

* Help complete customer pre-qualification documents.

* Liaise with suppliers to get the best price for cross hire machines & parts.

* Assist with preparation of information for monthly pipeline report.

* Help give information to workshops with won works.

* Help with technical purchasing.
