Junior Quantity Surveyor – Permanent Role | Civil Engineering Company | KT15

📍 Location: KT15 (Must be within 20 miles of Addlestone)

🔍 About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of domestic construction projects ranging from £100k to £2.5m. You’ll support the Senior QS and wider team in managing costs, preparing tenders, valuing works, and ensuring project profitability.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

* 5-10years plus UK experience

* Good working knowledge of forms of contract currently used within the Building and Civil Engineering industry

* Qualification in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.

* Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.

* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

* Sound knowledge of construction.

* Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.

* Clean valid driver's license.

* Great networking abilities.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

Assist in cost estimation, budget preparation, and tender submissions.

Help manage project budgets and monitor ongoing costs.

Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
