Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity? A well-established building contractor based in Ipswich is seeking a talented individual to join their team. The successful candidate will be based out of their Head Office in Ipswich.

Responsibilities

* Manage all aspects of the commercial and financial management of construction projects.

* Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.

* Procure subcontractor packages and materials, ensuring best value for the company.

* Provide accurate cost advice and commercial support to the project team.

* Manage variations, claims, and final accounts.

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements

* Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field.

* 5 years expereince in a similar role.

* Commercial build experience.

* Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Proficient in IT and industry-specific software.

* Chartered status (MRICS) desirable but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £65,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
