We're partnering with a well-established London-based property consultancy seeking an Associate Project Manager to join their Commercial Project Management division, part of their wider Building Consultancy team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced professional to take the next step in their career — helping to grow a dynamic service line, manage high-profile client projects, and mentor junior colleagues.
The Opportunity
You'll join a close-knit London team of four, working as part of a national Project Management network of eight, collaborating with in-house Quantity Surveying and Building Surveying professionals. With a strong pipeline of commercial projects and significant room for progression, this role is ideal for someone looking to take ownership, make an impact, and develop their leadership experience within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all stages of project delivery — from feasibility and procurement through to design, construction, and handover.
Manage multiple commercial projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
Prepare consultant RFPs, negotiate appointments, and oversee consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
Engage with clients to define project briefs and establish clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Monitor budgets and report on progress, costs, and performance metrics.
Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
Lead the preparation of fee proposals, bids, and related documentation.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and stay informed on industry best practices. About You
Professionally qualified: MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB (or equivalent).
Proven track record delivering commercial property projects across the full project lifecycle.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and multiple stakeholders.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a positive and solutions-focused mindset.
Confident using MS Office; full UK driving licence required.
